Chitrangada’s head throbbed as she slowly regained consciousness. A dull, aching pain pulsed at the back of her skull, making her wince. Her eyelids felt heavy, her body sluggish as if she had been drugged. Panic surged through her veins as she blinked rapidly, her vision adjusting to the dimly lit room.
"Where am I?" she whispered, her voice hoarse.
She sat up abruptly, clutching the soft silk sheets beneath her. This wasn’t her bed. The grand room surrounding her was unfamiliar, draped in dark tones, the air thick with an intoxicating mix of cigar smoke and expensive cologne. Fear clawed at her chest. She was supposed to be at the railway station, going home. How did she end up here?
Her breathing quickened. With trembling hands, she swung her legs off the bed and forced herself to stand. Every step toward the door felt like wading through quicksand, but she pushed forward, desperate to escape. As she stepped outside, the sight before her made her momentarily freeze.
The villa was enormous, almost suffocating in its opulence. It was beautiful—pristine marble floors, intricate chandeliers, tall windows draped in velvet curtains. But despite its grandeur, it felt eerie, like a cage disguised in luxury.
A deep, menacing voice cut through the silence.
"Kaid mubarak ho, Chitrangada Sharma."
Her breath hitched, dread pooling in her stomach. She turned sharply, her heart slamming against her ribs as her eyes locked onto a figure standing a few feet away.
Abhiraj Singh Rajput.
His towering frame exuded raw dominance, his dark, predatory eyes raking over her trembling form. His sharp features were etched in arrogance, his lips curled into a smirk that sent chills down her spine.
"Who—who are you?" Chitrangada stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "Why have you brought me here? Let me go!"
Abhiraj’s smirk deepened. "Tch tch," he clicked his tongue, his gaze darkening. "I don’t like mouths moving in front of me unless they’re screaming."
Before she could react, his hand shot out, gripping her wrist with brutal force. She let out a yelp, struggling against his ironclad hold, but he barely seemed fazed. Instead, he yanked her forward, dragging her back into the room.
"No! Let me go! Please!" she cried, trying to dig her heels into the floor, but his grip only tightened, his fingers pressing painfully into her skin.
With a sharp shove, he threw her onto the bed. Chitrangada gasped as she hit the mattress, her body curling inward instinctively as tears welled in her eyes.
"You can cry all you want, sweetheart," Abhiraj drawled, taking slow, calculated steps toward her. "It only makes things more interesting for me."
Chitrangada shook her head frantically, her entire body quivering in terror. "Please, I don't even know you! Why are you doing this? What do you want from me?"
Abhiraj let out a low chuckle, his amusement making her stomach churn. "You really don’t know? Or are you just playing dumb?"
He leaned down, his fingers brushing against her cheek mockingly before gripping her chin tightly, forcing her to look into his cold, unfeeling eyes. "You filthy little whore," he spat. "Walking around like some untouched angel, but holding hands with another man so shamelessly? You disgust me."
Chitrangada’s breath hitched as her eyes widened in horror. "W-What? No, it wasn’t like that! Rahul is just my friend! Please, you’re misunderstanding—"
Slap!
Her head snapped to the side as a sharp sting burned across her cheek. A choked sob escaped her lips, her mind reeling in shock. Before she could even process the pain, another slap followed. Then another. And another.
Her ears rang, her face stinging from the force of his blows. Tears streamed down her cheeks, her sobs muffled by the sheer terror gripping her soul.
Abhiraj grinned, watching her crumble with sadistic delight. "Save those tears, slut. I’ll give you plenty more reasons to cry. This is just the beginning."
Chitrangada curled into herself, her body wracked with uncontrollable shivers. She was helpless. Trapped in a nightmare she couldn’t wake up from. And the worst part? The monster before her was enjoying every second of it.
Chitrangada sat on the bed, her body still trembling from the cruel treatment she had endured. Her cheeks burned from the stinging slaps, and her vision was blurred by the tears that wouldn't stop falling. Fear coiled in her stomach as she heard the heavy footsteps approaching again. Her breath hitched when the door swung open, revealing Abhiraj Singh Rajput with a twisted smirk on his face.
In his hands was a bridal outfit—an extravagant red saree with intricate gold embroidery. Without a word, he threw it directly at her face, the fabric harshly smacking against her skin before falling onto her lap.
"Wear this," he ordered, his voice dripping with venom. "The priest will be here in an hour."
Chitrangada's eyes widened in sheer terror. Her lips trembled as she clutched the saree in her shaking hands. "Why?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Abhiraj chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with amusement at her broken state. He took slow, measured steps towards her and bent down, gripping her jaw harshly, forcing her to look into his cruel, merciless eyes.
"Because I fucking said so, you pathetic slut," he spat. "You think you can escape from me? That you can cry your way out of this? No, Chitrangada. From this moment, your life belongs to me. Your every breath will be at my mercy. You will never know peace again."
She flinched at his words, her sobs choking in her throat. Helplessness consumed her as she realized she had no way out. Her entire world was crumbling before her eyes, and she was powerless to stop it.
Satisfied with her shattered expression, Abhiraj straightened and walked towards the door. "I have some business to attend to," he mutered, pulling out his phone. "Stay put, my little bride. Try to run, and I promise you'll regret it." With that, he left the room, locking the door behind him.

Hospital Scene
Inside the sterile, cold hospital room, the beeping of machines filled the air. A young girl lay motionless on the bed, surrounded by an array of medical devices keeping her alive. Her frail form, her face devoid of color, made her look as if she was merely a shadow of what she used to be.
Abhiraj sat beside her, his fingers trembling as they gently held her cold, lifeless hand. He leaned forward, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead, his heart aching with unbearable sorrow.
"Akku…" he whispered, his voice breaking. "I swear, I'll make them pay for what they did to you. I’ll make them suffer so much that even death will feel like mercy to them."
His grip on her hand tightened as memories of his once lively, smiling sister flashed in his mind. Now, she was nothing but a fragile body trapped between life and death. The sight of her like this made his chest constrict in agony.
Just then, the door opened, and Ranvijay and Avinash entered. Ranvijay, with his usual cold demeanor, leaned against the wall while Avinash sat next to Abhiraj.
"What’s the plan now?" Ranvijay asked, his voice indifferent, as if he couldn’t care less.
Abhiraj lifted his gaze, his eyes dark with vengeance. "I’m going to marry that girl today."
Avinash’s brows furrowed. "Are you sure she’s responsible for this? Look, Abhiraj, do whatever you want, but don’t do anything that will make you regret later. You know exactly what I mean."
Abhiraj let out a bitter chuckle, his grip tightening on the hospital bed railing. "Regret? The only regret I have is letting that bitch roam free for this long. She did this to my Akku. Now, I will make her life a living hell. Every second, every breath she takes will be a punishment. She will beg for mercy, and I will laugh in her face."
Ranvijay scoffed, his hatred for Chitrangada evident. "That woman deserves nothing but suffering. The mere sight of her disgusts me. Just thinking about her makes my blood boil."
Avinash exhaled deeply, shaking his head. "Just don’t let your rage cloud your judgment. Make sure you’re punishing the right person."
Abhiraj’s eyes gleamed with dark amusement. "Oh, I will. And trust me, Avinash, this is just the beginning."
On the other side is Avinash's house.
At this moment, Amisha was lying on her bed in her room thinking about
something. Then she told herself that how bad Ranvijay is he took my first
kiss. Then she says that well, he is very handsome. But he gets very angry,
so I should quickly grow up, then I will propose to him for marriage.
Meanwhile, Avinash comes into her room and says that you have even
found a son-in-law for the Kapoor family. At this point, Amisha says, "You
are here." To which Avinash replied, "Why can't I come?" Then Avinash
pinched Amisha's ear hard and said, "beta padhai kar le"
Otherwise, if you fail this time too, I will throw you out of the house. And
what are you talking about? Marriage, love, handsome?" Amisha quickly
said, "Oh brother, your ears are buzzing, go and get treated by a doctor,
otherwise I will have a lot of trouble, I won't get a sister-in-law." Then
Avinash said, "Just fail this time, then I will tell you."
Abhiraj's Villa
Abhiraj had just arrived from the hospital to his villa, Dark Den. As soon as he entered, his sharp eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for Chitrangada. His expression darkened when he noticed the empty room. The wedding attire he'd thrown at her earlier lay crumpled on the bed—untouched.
His blood boiled. "She ran…" he muttered under his breath, his fists clenching. Without wasting a second, he stormed towards the security guards at their post. "Where is she?" he growled, his voice carrying an eerie calm before the storm.
One of the guards stammered, "S-Sir, she… she escaped through the back door."
Abhiraj’s jaw tightened. He turned on his heels and stormed towards the villa’s rear exit. As he stepped outside, his sharp gaze scanned the surroundings before catching sight of aone figure darting across the dimly lit pathway. His lips curled into a smirk. "Running won’t save you, little doll."
On Patna Bridge Main Highway
Chitrangada was running, barefoot, her feet aching with each hurried step. Her breath came in desperate gasps, but she didn't stop. The biting night air whipped against her face as she muttered to herself, "Run, Chitra… run before he catches you!"
Her clothes were torn slightly from the struggle she had put up against the guards, but she had managed to slip away. Freedom was within reach.
Just then, a convoy of black SUVs screeched to a halt in front of her. The blinding headlights made her freeze like a deer caught in the wild. Before she could turn, a strong hand yanked her back by her hair.
A cruel chuckle echoed through the night. "How dare you try to escape, huh?" Abhiraj’s voice was dripping with venom as he twisted her hair around his fist, making her wince.
"Let me go!" she cried, struggling against his grip.
Abhiraj’s smirk deepened. "Shhh… Save your energy, sweetheart. You'll need it tonight." With that, he forcefully shoved her into the car, slamming the door shut.
Chitrangada flinched as the vehicle sped off. She tried to push herself away from him, but he grabbed her chin roughly, making her face him. His dark, predatory eyes gleamed with amusement and something far more dangerous.
"You thought you could run away from me?" he whispered mockingly, his fingers tightening painfully. "I should punish you right here… right now…" His lips brushed against her ear as he added in a chilling tone, "Maybe we should celebrate our wedding night in the car itself. What do you say, darling?"
Chitra’s eyes widened in horror, her body trembling. "No… please…" she whimpered, but her voice barely came out.
Abhiraj let out a sinister laugh before releasing her face with a shove. "Sit quietly. Or else, I swear, I’ll make sure you regret this even more."
Tears rolled down Chitra’s cheeks as she curled up against the door, her heart hammering in terror.
Back at the Villa
The car skidded to a stop in front of the grand entrance. Abhiraj stepped out first, pulling Chitra out by her arm. His grip was bruising, and she stumbled forward, barely able to keep up with his pace.
As soon as they entered the villa, he shoved her onto the marble floor. Chitra yelped as pain shot through her elbow and knees, her forehead hitting the cold surface.
The sound of approaching footsteps made her blood run cold. She lifted her gaze to see Abhiraj towering over her, his expression void of mercy.
"You should have obeyed me, but no… you just had to act like a stubborn little whore, didn’t you?" His voice was dangerously low, laced with mockery and cruelty.
Chitra clenched her fists, her body trembling. "I’m not—"
Slap!
Her head snapped to the side as Abhiraj’s hand met her cheek, leaving a burning sting. "Not another word," he spat. "Get up!"
Before she could process the pain, he yanked her up by her arm and shoved her towards the staircase. "The priest will be here in an hour. You better be ready by then."
Chitra remained frozen, her mind racing. Her escape had failed… and now, she was about to be shackled to the devil himself.
The priest had just arrived at the villa, his eyes darting nervously around the opulent yet tense atmosphere. He could sense the heaviness in the air, but he dared not speak.
Abhiraj stood tall, his arms crossed, his gaze locked onto Chitraangda, who sat trembling on the floor, tears streaming down her face. The bruises on her arms and the disheveled state of her bridal attire spoke volumes of what had transpired.
"Enough of this drama," Abhiraj's voice cut through the silence like a whip. He strode forward and grabbed her jaw, his fingers pressing into her soft skin with bruising force. "I said, stop crying," he growled, his eyes dark with menace.
Chitra gasped in pain, her lips trembling as she met his cruel gaze. "Please... don't do this," she whimpered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Abhiraj let out a cold chuckle, tilting her chin up forcefully. "You think your tears will melt my heart?" he mocked, his voice dripping with venom. "I told you, whore, you are mine now. Whether you like it or not, this marriage will happen."
He yanked her up by her wrist, ignoring her pained whimper, and dragged her toward the mandap. She stumbled along, her legs shaking, but he showed no mercy.
"Pandit, start the mantras," Abhiraj commanded, his tone sharp and impatient.
The priest hesitated, glancing at Chitraangda's miserable state. "Beta, if you don't—"
"Shut up!" Abhiraj snapped, making the old priest flinch. "You are here to do your job, not give advice. Just start the damn rituals!"
Chitraangda shook her head frantically. "No... please... I don’t accept this marriage!" she sobbed, trying to pull her hand away from his iron grip.
Abhiraj’s jaw tightened in fury. Without warning, he leaned in and whispered harshly into her ear, "Either you sit here and become my wife, or I’ll make sure you scream my name in ways you never imagined before the wedding even happens."
Chitra froze in horror, her blood running cold. Her body went rigid as she realized there was no escape. The fire crackled before her, its embers mocking her misery, as the priest reluctantly began the chants.
Abhiraj smirked in satisfaction. "That’s more like it," he murmured, his fingers tightening possessively around hers as the forced wedding began.
